When setting prices consider how long the price is good for (weeks, months), whether the price includes delivery, etc.

Be reasonable about pricing. Realize that some hay will sell for very high prices because some buyers (particularly owners of pleasure horses) want the highest quality and do not care about the price, but that many buyers will not be willing to pay as much. Setting a more realistic price ensures more sales.
