Clover species selection is an important management decision for forage production and soil improvement.

It sets the framework for the forage-livestock system being developed or cover cropping soil improvement that is possible for croplands.

This web-based application, supported by the Oregon Clover Commission, will improve the selection of legume species by matching intended use and management level with climatic and soil tolerances of clover species.

This has been done by assembling research and extension information on forage and cover-crop legumes produced in Oregon and used throughout the US and the world.
